Community Guidelines
Effective date: 2026-06-25
SharedShot is built for sharing real moments with real friends. These guidelines exist to keep the app a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone. By using SharedShot you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.
Be Respectful
Treat other users the way you would want to be treated. SharedShot is a private photo sharing app — the people receiving your photos are your friends. Keep it that way.
- Do not harass, bully, or intimidate other users
- Do not send unwanted or unsolicited photos to people
- Do not impersonate another person or create fake accounts
- Do not use SharedShot to stalk, monitor, or track someone without their knowledge
Only Share Photos You Have the Right to Share
When you take or upload a photo on SharedShot, you are responsible for that content.
- Only share photos you took yourself or have explicit permission to share
- Do not share photos that violate someone else's privacy or were taken without their consent
- Do not share photos of people in private situations where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy
- Do not share copyrighted content you do not own or have rights to
No Harmful or Illegal Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on SharedShot and will result in immediate account termination:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualized content involving minors
- Explicit sexual content or nudity
- Graphic violence, gore, or content depicting real-world harm
- Content that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates illegal activity
- Hate speech or content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Content that threatens or incites violence against any person or group
- Spam, scam content, or phishing attempts
Respect Face Recognition and Biometric Consent
SharedShot uses face recognition to automatically deliver photos to people who appear in them. This is a powerful feature that comes with responsibility.
- Do not attempt to manipulate or abuse the face recognition system
- Do not use SharedShot to send photos to people without their knowledge in a harassing or harmful way
- Face recognition data is used only to connect you with your friends — do not attempt to use it for any other purpose
- If you do not want to participate in face recognition, you may skip face setup or delete your face profile at any time in Settings
Protect Others' Privacy
Photos shared on SharedShot go only to friends who appear in them — but you still have a responsibility to respect the privacy of everyone in your photos.
- Do not share photos that reveal sensitive personal information about others such as their home address, financial information, or medical information
- Consider whether the people in your photos would be comfortable receiving them before sharing
- If someone asks you to delete a photo of them, please honor that request
No Spam or Abuse of the Platform
- Do not use SharedShot for any commercial or promotional purpose without authorization
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or abuse the SharedShot platform
- Do not create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban
- Do not use automated tools or bots to interact with the app

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to us at support@sharedshot.com. Include as much detail as possible including the username involved and a description of the violation. We review all reports and will take appropriate action.
